Cancellation & Refund

1. Order Cancellation Policy

Buyers may cancel any order prior to the farmer harvesting or dispatching the produce:

• Before Harvest / Dispatch: 100% full refund is processed back to the source payment method immediately with zero cancellation penalty.
• After Dispatch: Once fresh produce has been harvested and handed to the delivery courier, cancellations are not accepted due to the perishable nature of agricultural goods.

2. Non-Delivery & Escrow Refund

If an order fails to be delivered due to courier breakdown, address issues, or farmer stock shortage, the full order amount held in escrow is refunded directly to your original payment method (bank account / UPI) within 24 to 48 business hours.

3. Perishable Produce & Defect Claims

Because Dhaniyam.in connects buyers directly with independent growers, transactions are trust-based:

• If produce arrives visibly spoiled, crushed, or damaged, buyers must notify our support desk within 12 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence.
• Claims raised prior to escrow release will be evaluated for partial or full refund from the held funds.
• Once escrow funds have been disbursed to the farmer after the verification window, payments are final and non-refundable, as the platform does not carry ongoing inventory or insurance.
