Terms of Service — Dhaniyam.in

⚠️ Notice: Dhaniyam.in operates strictly as a digital technology bridge connecting farmers with consumers. All produce is sold directly by independent farmers.

1. Digital Intermediary Status (Section 79 IT Act)

Dhaniyam.in is an electronic marketplace technology platform provided by Patify Digital Agency. Under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, Dhaniyam.in acts solely as an intermediary. The platform does not produce, store, warehouse, package, or transport agricultural commodities.

2. Bilateral Contract of Sale & Zero Product Liability

Any purchase contract initiated through Dhaniyam.in is strictly a bilateral contract directly between the independent farmer/seller and the buyer.

Produce freshness, natural crop variations, weight, organic cultivation standards, and harvest quality are the exclusive representation and responsibility of the listing farmer.
Dhaniyam.in and Patify Digital Agency do not assume liability for crop defects, perishability, transit spoilage, or suitability for consumption. The platform is built on direct mutual trust between growers and consumers.
No warranty or insurance coverage is currently provided. Buyers and sellers participate voluntarily under this direct farm model.

3. Escrow Mechanism & Platform Fees

To protect both parties, Dhaniyam.in acts as a payment collection and escrow facilitator:

When a buyer makes an online payment, funds are held securely in escrow until delivery is verified.
Upon confirmed delivery, 100% of the produce subtotal is remitted directly to the farmer's registered UPI account.
The platform retains only a nominal flat platform fee (₹10.00) and delivery charges to cover payment gateway processing and logistics infrastructure.

4. User Obligations & Conduct

Buyers agree to provide valid phone numbers, accurate delivery addresses, and verifiable postal PIN codes within Tamil Nadu. Sellers agree to post only genuine, freshly harvested produce that is physically available for immediate dispatch.
